You have to remove the whole top spoiler. the light is then fitted in from behind with two torx headed screws.

Normal reason for failure is the connections corroding had to do mine several times since I've had the car.

The spoiler can be difficult to remove especially if you have had the 'recall repair' from Renault where they have 'glued' on the extra fittings. Its also a bit fiddly as you have to be careful not to drop the screws down into the frame. I general y just loosen then tie some cotton around them before undoing then the rest of the way, & if they do drop I can use the cotton to pull them back out. Of course the same goes for re fitting them too.
