30mA is what Renault advise as acceptable. The alternator has been fully checked. I've been investigating this for 6 months and I've covered all angles. I'd about given up as I can't find enough drain to flatten the battery.

I'd come to the conclusion that either something was coming out of sleep mode and not isolating again, or there is a duff relay that is sometimes holding on. That was until I read recently that some people had had the same issue and established the cause as duff handsfree door sensors. As I don't use this facility I was wondering if anyone knew how to disconnect it.

I'm sure this will be the problem because it fits in with the coming out of sleep mode theory.

If I find the cause I shall post the outcome as it seems there are a few people occassionally encounter this very frustrating fault.
