Things which spring to mind to look out for...
Cat convertors get very hot & fail fairly regularly (listen out for a rattle).
Water ingress in boot from poor sealing around rear lights (lift the carpet to check).
Usual Ford brakes (warped discs).
Other than that, just your usual checks that all warning lights illuminate on start-up, then go off, every switch works, and the air-con blows hot & cold.
The wheelarches & door bottoms can be areas for rust, so bring a mirror to check.
Hope it all works out.
Just out of interest, would a mirror help if I was going for an ST with the RSAP kit because I wouldn't have thought you could see under the door because of the kit?
