A word of warning (assuming you have the lifting rear window) - when I first got mine, the rear wiper wasn't working. Found that what had happened was that the spindle penetrating the glass was totally siezed and had burnt out the wiper motor. Had to get a new spindle and motor but the wiper arm was absolutely bonded to the spindle by corrosion so finished up breaking that as well to get it off.
While you've got the arm apart, suggest that you strip the spindle assembly as far as possible and flood it with grease (my preference is for white grease spray). If you're trying to do it quickly, then Plus Gas or WD40 is better than nothing but they won't stay in place very long.
The guy on the Parts Desk said that sometimes the spindles only last for about 4 months (dependant upon climate / usage pattern).
