Rewire headlamps for daytime use?

Here in Denmark it's compulsory to drive with the lights switched on during the day and most cars have their head lamps wired so that they come on automatically. Unfortunately it's not so in my car and I'm constantly forgetting to switch them on . Does anybody know a (simple) way of making the headlamps switch off together with the ignition? This way I could just leave them switched on all the time (Ah, if only the friendly car computer could remind me to switch the lights ON instead of OFF the problem would be solved... )
