This one has been discussed before, but I'm too lazy to look for the appropriate links, so here goes... The 'instantaneous economy' function is present on cars calibrated for litres and kilometers, but not for ones that are calibrated for miles and gallons. The function was included in the English translation of the manual, even though the feature doesn't appear on any UK spec vehicles. Why? Only Renault know the answer and they're not letting on.
