The key Zargon is referring to it a small metal type similar to a Yale type key but smaller. It operates an isolating switch to the fuel system. From memory it is not a Renault part but an after-market type switch. I suggest you try a decent locksmith who may be able to assist. Replacement key operated switches are quite common.
