...and he's back in the room. Sainsbury's Taste The Difference Roasting Joint From A Very Happy Pig was one third off: result!

#1 is very, very shiny, but I think that's because it was being steam-cleaned by the cooling system. The others looked okay to me; I think any oily stuff on them was a result of removing the cylinder head (I'm convinced Haynes omits to mention about half a dozen looms from the back of the inlet valve - every time we thought we were clear up popped another bolt to remove. There's no way those babies are being properly reconnected). Fortnight old spark plugs were starting to get sooty but were oil -free.

Okay, shall now compose my bumper list of dumb questions. Bear with me.
