I’ve been told there is play in my front suspension bushes or hats (one or the other) on my 1.8 M reg lagua Does anyone know how to replace them??
Thanks Richard
Well the people at the garage pushed the car from side and looked under the bonet and pointed out how these bush things where moveing as they rocked the car, There round with a anti vibration nut in the middle. Aparently it would be classed as a M.O.T. faliure if there not sorted next time.
They are commonly known as suspension strut top bearings or mounts. You could try either of the links below. Replacement involves removal of the entire strut and compressing the suspension spring with a special spring compressor.
i have just replace both of mine on my 1998 laguna. it is also worth replacing the bottom bearings aswell (mine where seized and caused the strut to creak and bang when steering turned also made steering feel notchy)
