I have two lag II boot spoilers in the shed, that type you have on your car and the the norm type, there doesn't seem to be much weight to them at all for the size, they are made from a type of foam, I could weigh them both if you want me too.
I asked the question some time ago if I would have to upgrade the gas struts if I fitted a spoiler, and the answer was one size/grade fits all.
Thanks Polecat, some VERY useful information, in fact I seem to have all my answers - answered!
I'll definatly be buying the new gas struts now, I was weighing (no pun intended) the cost up over the weekend, and when I put the advantages - such as not getting hit on the head anymore - and the fact they come with a two year guarantee, I think it'l be money well spent.
Think i'll prob order them this week, and i'll post results on here as soon as they're fitted.
Thanks to all again
