Let me think...

38 - head gasket set with bolts ( eBay ; PM me if you want seller)
17 - water pump ( eBay again)
44 - belt and tensioner (Dayco)
89 - head pressure testing and skim
16 - alternator and PAS belts
11 - thermostat that's around 220; around 45 less if no skim required.

Tools I didn't hold were a trustworthy torque wrench, an angular gauge, and a 1/2" > 3/8" socket converter - 29, 9 and 4 respectively.

Misc stuff? Hylomar Universal Blue, emery paper, degreaser, Jubilee clips for hoses, RadFlush, copious quantities of rags and kitchen roll, paraffin... another 20.

Liquids and associated bits: two engine's worth of oil (20), two oil filters (7 each), coolant (10).

Cost to me was north of 320 before replacing both the hose that was broken and the hose I broke.
