Does it only happen at home then?
When it does happen, do you have the keys in your pocket?
As I said, I think it takes its time before unlocking itself and the car isn't often away from home. Am off to see the old folks next weekend and will keep an eye on it.

The IR is *very* directional: have to aim right at the sensor above the rear view mirror. It's not the sort of thing you can open from five yards away even if you wanted to, so I don't think it's accidental on my part.
