Safrane battery drain

Hi everyone I am new to the forum, and may have posted to the wrong forum. I have a 1999 Safrane 2.5 auto.
The car was preregistered by Renault and I bought it in 2000. I am very pleased with the car but over a few months, if I leave the car over the weekend I have to start it
using a backup system.
The alternative is to uncouple the battery, couple up on a Monday, and car starts fine using the external power source. Car auto electricians found a fuse used to control radio, internal lights and trip recorder.
and fitted a shunt so radio could work, not ideal.
has anyone experienced such a problem and was there a solution.
Could anyone advise on a wiring diagram for this car, my chum an electronics engineer is going to have a look when the weather gets better in Scotland.
