On the climate control the minimum setting is 16 and the max is 26.

If you have it set at 16 degrees you will get really cold air (temp will be much less than 16 degrees though). It will also be colder if you set the car to re-circulate the air inside the car as its cooling already cold air.

You can also override the auto setting of the climate control by pressing one of the buttons for either fan speed / direction. This will put it into manual mode. That way you can set the air con on, and have it at whatever temp you like - useful for winter.

To put it back into Auto mode press the auto button (middle of the left passenger side temp control knob)

Has your right (driver side) tempature control knob got two LED's in it ? This is the re-circulation swtich, Push it and it goes through its settings. Press once to take it off auto (no LED's), and again to put it to re-circ the cabin air (red LED will light). When in auto mode the right LED will be orange).

Cant help regarding the phone Im afraid. Oh and welcome to the forums btw
