Many cars and not only renaults whch have no air-con have cabin filters. Whilst a pollen filter will keep dust from blocking the evaporator it also helps keep the gunge and pollen out of the car and is surprisingly efficient at trapping diesel particulate. No more bits of dry leaves vibrating or flying out of the face vents
