Other symptoms I get that I think relates to the battery - is on start up interior lights flicker (this may be normal and just not noticed before)

And occasionally the dash board display seems slow to fully light up.

Although you would think if a battery can turn a starte motor it should drive a sunroof motor.

Could have been with added friction it was just too much with the engine not running. Does open now with the engine switched off, but by about the 5th go it can stick.

Mind you if I keep playing with it - will probably break anyway.

Only other thing if motor is on its way out so battery is having to work harder.

When it struggles to open and can't it suddenly starts to close the inside cover (strange)

I did a reset with the main button which also seemed to help.

Anyway enough rambling - am going on holiday tomorrow - will stop playing with it - and get a battery check if the opportunity or a garage arises.
