wrote to the dealer concerned who refused to admit these operations were included as 'standard' and were chargeable extras. claimed they were as competetive as any other dealer in the area and offered to do the work for £40 inclusive.
have written back and requested that they re-visit their decision. will keep you posted when anything further develops.
incidentally, i contacted
renault customer services
at your request and to be honest they didnt have a clue; saying that they'd have to ring the dealer to see what is or isnt included....
do Renault UK not specify what should be in the service or is it left to dealer discretion?
the lady on the phone at R-Uk was quite helpful but was unwilling or unable to contact someone at R-UK to confirm the answer to this question preferring to ring dealers instead.
surely someone at R-UK knows the answer to this question?
am baffled!! (doesn't take much sometimes)
