I'll give the japs credit where its due though, they have tough standards to meet with their cars. Apparently if they don't pass their version of an MOT they're scrapped straight away and the owner has to walk home!
.....or they are are loaded on to a boat and brought over here!.
I get to see allsorts of cars, and the Japanese stuff is by far and away the most reliable.
I can't think of any European manufacturer that makes cars with reliability to shout about, even the so called 'premium brands' of BMW and Merc have plenty of common faults.
The only thing about Jap stuff is that on the rare occasions that they do give problems, genuine parts are crazy money........
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
