Generally renaults tend to be cheap second hand and considering the age of the car it is due a set of cam and auxiliary belts this year despite the mileage and that could cost the average punter around £500 plus - this is not normally included in a 72K service
I paid £1800 exactly a year ago for a LagunaII 1.9 Dci with 58K on the clock.
Just to give you an idea of the current market a dealer local to me is advertising a 2002 1.9 Dci model with 53K on the clock for £2950 - it has had a new timing belt and comes with 6 months warranty. If buying straight I'm sure you could chip the price back to £2800.
A car is exactly what someone is prepared to pay for it and no more and with the sale of second hand cars being slow at present the market ain't good - not for sellers anyway
