I've managed to get the car going by keying in the immobiliser code via the central locking button*, but I have to do this every time I get in the car and its getting _very_ tedious.
Am I doing something wrong as it won't accept the code so I can use the car as normal and unlock with the key and then just drive away.
There is no water damage in the reciever so would a new key fob do the trick?
Obviously I want to avoid a trip to the dealer if possible
If you get a second hand but working key fob, can you reprogramme your code to open your central locking and start the car, or does it have to be a brand new one?
