Hmm... I wasn't thinking so musch from the point of view of lowering the limiter to reduce the stress on the engine, though that sounds like a mighty fine idea.

I was actually thinking about the consequences of the screw having been un-knowingly set the wrong (either by a 3rd party meddler or vibration) and allowing the engine to over-rev!
