Agreed Az. Lots of new cars billowing soot out the back - where older ones (not unlike yours Lag) have practically no (or very little anyway) soot exiting the rear end. Kinda makes the new diesels look dirrrrrty

Out of interest, as I've never actually been "with" a car during its test - what sort of revving do they do to petrol engined cars? I assume not too high, seeing as the emmisons printout gives a fast idle test usually around 2000rpm IIRC? Thats a little les scary (old Chav's going for her MOT soon )
