The warranty should still stand. Contact your local Renault dealer first, they should confirm the warranty and arrange for a paint inspection. When the paint inspector looks at the panel they will check the paint thickness. If they find the paint is thicker than expected from the factory then this means that the car has had damage repaired and unless you can prove it was by an approved Renault repairer, your warranty will be void. Secondly they will look at the patches under a microscope type thing. If they find the surface broken then they will most likely say that it was caused by a chip and you will not be covered.
