I agree with your suggestion L2O, but surely that's not the point.
The way that vass20 has managed to pick apart the charging procedure for 'fixed price' servicing has exposed what is, in my view, an absolutely disgusting practise. On another thread, WebCode also mentioned that the standard Renault service didn't include the coolant flush listed on Renault's service schedule and is a chargable extra item - which at the time left me a bit speechless!
The more I read these sorts of threads on Renault dealer servicing, the more I'm convinced that I've taken the correct route in using an independent. It seems to me that when buying a second-hand Renault, a full dealer service history is anything but the reassurance that it should be!
