The answer is yes if you went to school with and are best friends with your local MOT tester,he gives me an MOT for my 1978 mk2 escort just by phoning him up when he's at work,actually i just give him the reg number over the phone and when he comes home(he lives next door!!)i give him 40 and he give's me a MOT,simple.....
also with a car made before 1984 i doesn't need hazard warning lights or numberplate lights or rear seatbelts and is exempt from emisions testing...
Currently in ALLYZ66's garage:
RENAULT KANGOO 1.5DCI.and a MK2 escort 16 sport and a cooking oil powered isuzu crew cab pick up everywhere...
