So you're most likely committing fraud to the DVLA and probably the insurers too (and hence everybody on the roads because the policy is invalid) if you lack enough scruples to do it in the first place then?
not up to us we are a registered garage dealing in performance upgrades and engine tuning,the owner of the vehicle knows or asks for what he or she wants it's up to them if they tell the dvla/insurance what work has been done.
also some cars we work on are classic cars with an agreed value from the insurance company,this lets you put any size of engine in them without affecting the policy,i know this for a fact as i have one of these policys..
