Euro diesels are not OBD compliant until 2004 I think, so although the plugs look right, they won't talk to your interface. Petrol cars were compliant earlier, 2001 if my memory serves me right. Some of the sites on the web will try to con you that the manufacturers were ready before this, but it's mostly bollards!
