Meganes have a fault similar to this.... On the megane when it stalls at the lights it is the head gasket that has blown.
I can only assume it might be the same with yours. Basically when the
and coolant mix, the gasket isn't protecting them from each other. My understanding is that if water leaks into the piston cylinders it is burnt with the fuel... turning it into steam which of course will try to exinguish any fire/explosion in the cylinder leading to power loss.
Check the oil cap for signs of any white looking stuff. You might want to get the compression tested too..
I have checked the
cap and there is no signs of any white stuff at all.
