I've recently changed the Air Mass Meter and that didn't work. It's also smoking like Bob and caning the diesel.
Where is the egr and how do you get it off and how do you clean it?
best regards
Aaaag - another MAF replaced to no avail - seriously how much are renault making on this? Was that a stealership recommendation?

I'm afraid vibrating motorbike like noise coming from behind the dash is not what is normally associated with EGR ... but the reduced power may be.

If the smoke is black its over fuelling - check your air filter, it may need replacing. Are you losing any oil ?

No harm checking the EGR , it should be part of routine maintenance, but I think you may have one or two other probs
