The Proximity Control Unit is used with the cruise control but is not available in the UK. It detects how close the vehicle in front is and adjust the speed to suit.

The cabin computer ( UCH ) can be programmed to think it has this unit fitted so it may be that something has gone wrong there.

When did it first raise this fault? Can you think of anything that may have caused it? (Battery, using a mobile, work on the car)
