electrical box on underside of the car

Was driving my Laguna home from work and drove over what seemed like a branch or stick, then heard a bumping / knocking as I kept driving. I pulled over and had a look under the car and noticed one of what looks like a largish electrical unit / connection box with cables coming from it was dangling and bouncing between the road and the underside of the car, hence the knocking. It is the plastic clip part of the unit that clips onto the underside of the car that is broken. There seems to be 2 of these units inder there, I brike the one closer to the front of the car I think.
Anybody know what this is, can I get a new plastic unit without having to re-run all the cables from it, or should I just try and cable tie it up and hope it holds???
Your help is greatly appreciated.
