Hmm......you don't have a different lock on your boot do you?
Failing that, glove box, fuel filler cap although the key itself maybe looks to large for them......I'm at a loss.
I know some of the older Laguna's had a lock to reset the alarm (I think they were located either by the sunroof controls or under the dash near the fuse box)....dunno if that's the same for the Espace. I would have thought though, that your alarm would be reset the same way as mine (without a key) as it's the same model alarm.
I can't think of anything else that would have a lock on it??
