Lightbulb Passenger window fault?

I have just bought a Renault Scenic Dynamique 16v 1.6 (2004). and checked it over and all seemed to be in spotless condition.
When going for a Test Drive, I checked the windows and found that all 4 windows would only come down (when pressing the buttons) in part sections (approx 2-3" down at a time). I checked with the Dealer, who said this was Factory spec and did not give it much notice due to all 4 windows doing the same.
Later I contacted a Dealer who know alot about Renaults (due to working with them) and he said that the windows should auto come down/up by ONE press of the window button.
He did say that if either the 'Battery' was low or had been taken out, the Window computer would not recongise where the 'TOP' was and default to running open in sections of 2-3" when pressing the switch.
He commented that if you close the windows with the buttons, HOLD the window (your going to operate) button in the 'UP' position for 5 SECONDS, the window will run properly.
I did this for all 4 windows and found that all but the Passenger window works OK.

Can anyone out there tell me if there is anything else I could try or if there is a fault with this Window not opening or Closing by pressing the Button once?

Many Thanks for reading
