Any damaged repaired car is worth around £500 to £1000 less than book and thats assuming it has been repaired by a VIBRA registered body repair shop. Remember the next buyer may also have difficulty getting it insured as some insurers don't like non registered repairs
Personally I wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole. I am not saying it wasn't repaired properly but damage repair cars have a nasty habit of coming back and biting you in the a$se and if not you then the next owners, etc.
If your car is damaged by another driver who is at fault not only can you claim for the cost of the repair but also the depreciation of the vehicle due to it being damaged and repaired so the insurance companies are aware of this aspect of damage repaired vehicles. Have a read through paragraph 10 in the attached link. The site also gives good advice when dealing with a damaged car after an accident
