Sori Kaiser Soce, unless the electric fan is at fault, I don't see your post to be the problem, after all we're only talking about the heat from engine hot water, which I wouldn't think in my humble opinion could make the plastics used in the heater box, make a plastic burning type smell.

Thats just my two pence worth
