You have probably got a faulty
.. If the vehicle detects a misfire then it will put the warning light on..
You are correct in not driving the vehicle, as the misfire will be dumping unburnt petrol down the cat. This will Rapidly destroy the Monolyth in the Cat..
Mind you as the vehicle is still under warranty and if the Cat did fail it would be replaced under Consiquential damage due to
