I like the speakers fitted in the standard positions as no one knows they're there, so won't try to steal 'em. And I suppose no one would guess there was an amp and sub in the boot of a 7 seater family bus
Some peoples faces when the do spot it can be fun.
I've tried a 10" sub too, but felt it just wasn't powerful enough to "fill" the car.
If I could get a bit of bass with a reasonably standard set up, I'd get rid of the sub.
I understand Tankface wanting "some" bass without it being too intrusive and not wanting to take up too much room with a sub & amp set up. I suppose I'm lucky enough to have the room for it and still have a huge boot too.
Tankface if you're handy enough, you could make up some pods for larger speakers yourself. MDF is magic stuff, combined with either cataloy or fibreglass it's amazing what can be achieved.
I think I have CDO. It's like OCD, but with ALL THE LETTERS IN THE RIGHT ORDER
