True, but they've also reduced the amount of fuel the competitors are allowed to use in a race, they've reduced engine size, number of cylinders and set rev limits all to do the same as fitting a restrictor.

As yet I've not voted in the poll as the answer I'd give isn't an option.

Given the apparent weakness of the dCi turbocharger, I'll be leaving my air filter standard. Not because I'm concerned it may somehow get overloaded or have a harder life, but because I've always believed a free flow filter just isn't capable of doing the same job at removing the grime etc that would do the turbo harm internally.
I'll just stick to changing the oil every 9000mls or so.
