I could never afford a fizzy so I got a 350cc Enfield Bullet with girder forks and solid rear end instead, cost me £14. Sold it 3 years later for £18
It would leave the fizzy's behind though.
My brothers into restoring bikes, he did this police one, got best in show.
When I had a Jag I used to go to a lot of the Jaguar drivers Club meetings, that's where I saw my favourite car.
Only one in existence, the XJ13, built to win Le Mans but never competed because of rule changes, and as fast as the latest Ferrari.
It's in the Jag museum.
Most beautiful car ever made, to me anyway.
I am not usually a fan of Jags, but I do have to agree that the XJ13 is jaw-droppingly beautiful.
sounds like you had a good day
Yeah,it was good thanks Micky.I hope to do a few more although my car doesn't really fit in with the rest of the others on the classic car scene. To be anoraky about it,a car has to be over 25 years old to be called 'classic',and there are people out there that will turn their nose up at anything newer.
Unfortunately it rained last night and all my cleaning has gone to waste, but hopefully it won't take as long to sort it out again next time.
.I need to empty out my garage and get the Delta in there soon.I'm not sure where all the cr4p in it came from, but none of it is mine.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
