Automatic Handbrake

Hi all, I recently changed the rear brake pads and forgot to clip the cable back in for the automatic handbrake. As soon as I started the car I remembered that I forgot to clip the cable back in but the automatic handbrake had already put the brake on and pulled in the cable, I released the automatic handbrake and the cable moved out. I managed to clip this back on and handbrake works fine. But everytime my handbrake is on it displays "Check Handbrake" and the orange spanner is lit up.

Does anyone know how to switch this off?
