2003 Laguna Initiale
Hatch 2.0 Petrol Manual (40k miles)
Noticed today that the front drivers door handle makes a slightly odd noise - like it's rubbing on something.
I pulled it (as if to open the door) and looked behind and there is some sort of rubber or plastic shim type things (it's on every door so obviously meant to be there).
On the drivers door this shim has quite a bit of play in it and moves around when the handle is being operated. On the other doors it is firmly stuck down.
Not sure if this is the cause of the rubbing but it certainly could be.
Is this something to worry about or normal for the age? After all it's the most used door handle on the car.
Is it worth spraying some WD40 down the back of the handle to smooth things out a bit?
