I think, you think, I'm on about the clips on the back of the pad that clips onto the calliper piston....I mean the wire spring clip thing that goes onto the outside of the calliper....the one you can see through the wheel

Anyway I think I can answer my own question after ringing quite a few motor factors & brake specialists....I've been told by most of them that it's a dealer only part.

The Renault part number is: 7701049284 @ 5.92each ...for a piece of wire !

Anyway I had to buy one as one of mine snapped while I was trying to remove was seized solid into the caliper holes I eventually after a couple of hours of persuasion got it free from both holes. The last service was done by a Renault dealer...why oh why don't mechanics put a dab of grease on things like this to stop them seizing
I always lube up everything I makes it a breeze to take apart again in the years to come
