The first problem (service & airbag lights) is a known issue with many Clios, so I'm surprised the garage didn't give you the right answer:

This is almost always due to a connector under the passenger seat, which has a poor contact. The reason is that the wires in this section of the electrics are slightly too short. If you feel/look under the front edge of the passenger seat you'll find the rogue connector (it's about the size of a 'Lego' brick). Gentle fiddling with it will usually turn these lights off.

(NB. This is quite safe, you'll not set the airbags off!)

The 'dead engine' sounds like the starter motor. I'm assuming you can't hear this turning at all.

Other thought is to change the battery - if this is faulty internally then - even when trying to jump-start - it might be the root of both the coil light & starting issues.
