The last time I heard of an engine needing a decoke was on a Morris Minor in 1963 over 40 years ago. It's about time we all stood up to these thieving gits. Many say stupid things and quote stupid money when in reality they don't want the work. I understand many garages like to specialise and tend to take on easy work where the profit is easiest - after all business is business but why don't they just come out and speak the truth. That way they are more likely to get a regular customer base. Someone should tell them what the definition of a customer is. "It's someone who keeps coming back because they were treated well the first time"
