I understand both about % error in speedos, the pitfalls of reading speed on a gps and the effects of wheel and tyre size.
We did take a vast number of readings at different speeds over a 50 mile run on reasonably flat roads. These results were then charted and a line of best fit put through them. Other than the odd point the spread of data was very tight. This test was done in UK.
In the trip across france and into the alps I was able to compare our speed indication to 2 other renault vehicles both of which read approximately the same. We, based on this rough comparison, seemed to be reading 10% down.
Given the current set up of the vehicle I would like to recallibrate the speedo. Is there some where I can take it to have this done?
