II-In Dash LCD Replacement*Fixed*

I went ahead and swapped the in dash 6 cd changer for the Kenwood one i bought. It works a charm, apart from now, the Control Computer for the GPS just sits there flashing away at me and the display that is in the pod on the dash is either stuck on the Renault Logo or just goes to a black screen wioth the clock in the top right corner.

Was wondering if any one else has had this snag before?

Was also looking at getting a double DIN unit to replace the lot, but this would then make the current screen completely useless.

If i did go down the double din, the unit i am after has a video ouot and was thinking of replacing the current in dash display with a smally LCD monitor.

Has anyone else done this and if so, what size and type of monitor did you use.

Many thanks
