If it has an aerial for the immobiliser around the ignition barrel then the key chip needs to be programmed to the
,changing the aerial won't make a blind bit of difference I'm afraid.
I'd be tempted to contact a local mobile autolock specialist and see if they can make and programme a new key for you to match the existing locks on the car.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
