I used the seat belt bolt and hole cos it is the best earth point on the car, the one you mentioned is normally for the rear electrical socket if youíve got one, the boot light, and or the 6 disk changer, and the rear lights,,,,,, as I have 6 amps, and all the other stuff we used a more suitable earth point with a earth block

Just remember, from your battery to the rear try and use the biggest cable you can, O gage in some installs can be over kill, but if you are using 4 gage, then the earth cable must be the same, along with all the other power cables.

What ever you do please donít use the stupid little 16gage you find in amp wiring packs, you are so better off buying the items individually, getting a decent power c and earth cable and 6 to 8 inches from your battery a 60 or 80 amp fuse, its all ways an idea to have a fused distribution block at the end so you can run the power cables from that, then at least if some thing blows it will stop there
