Thanks for the warm welcome and quick responses!
I had thought about DIY'ing it. It doesn't look that bad and it doesn't have to be perfect, just reasonable and prevent further rusting. However having only done some minor stone chip and shopping trolley scratch touch ups to my clio i'm a little bit daunted by the prospect of a larger area. Should I go about it in the same fashion? I followed This Guide
using some primer from halfords, paint from a local body shop and Autoglym scratch remover and polish.
Read my mind about the breakers. Been quoted just under £50 by online breakers but with £20 delivery. Theres a number of breakers round here, with a bit of patience hoping to find one the same colour, if not i can live with a different colour until i can afford a respray. As you say it is metallic so would cost a bit.
All in all starting to sound like a nice project to start the summer with.
Thanks again guys.
