Because I have a fault on idle which comes up as "Fuel Injection Fault" only happen when engine is warm and idle s at 850ish rpm if i hold the revs at about 900-950 the fault doesn't come up. I've had a diagnostic done and give 2 options
1 Change the injector rail 1000+
2 Or if that doesn't cure it take head off and reseat valves 700 labour plus bits
Therefore if the problem goes away at 900 revs I'd rather take that course than shell out 2000+ with no guarantee the fault goes. The extra petrol it uses will no way come to 2000+ in the time I intend to keep the car. May be head in sand approach but I can't afford any other solution. So if anyone knows how to achieve this I'll be grateful
